I started reworking the collar on Tom's Christmas sweater before even unpacking the car. I made an increase stitch after each picked up stitch on the front, so the collar wouldn't pull up on the torso, making a tight neck and a short sweater. 1x1 rib knits up quickly, so I might be able to finish tomorrow.
